Snail on Glass
A hand-drawn illustration of a solitary snail moving slowly and purposefully across a pane of glass. Viewed from underneath, the snail proves a perfect focal point against the angular and geometric privacy glass. The lines and hardness from the glass are in direct opposition to the snail's perfectly round and soft body, providing a perfect balance of opposites. A striking piece in black and white which highlights the patterns of the glass and the clear body of the snail, left purposefully untouched by ink.
This design was hand-drawn by me using coloured pends and is produced on fine quality paper, Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm. This paper has a slight texture to it and a matt finish.
